Just Sayin'

I'm going to a special place when I die
but I want to make sure my life
is special while I'm here.

Free Painting

I need motivation for a painting.
Actually, I have a ton of motivation and
thoughts for my next Canvas, just no takers as of yet.
If you would like a canvas made by yours truly
including all of the love that goes into one, please
let me know and I'll get started working on it right away.
This offer doesn't come around too often and I'd like
it to go to someone who would enjoy it as much as
I like making it.

When Inspiration flows freely

 I've always told myself....

Get that nasty feeling out of your system as quickly
as you can so that you don't regret it down the line.
Also, that you don't carry that burden with you the next day,
so that you may transfer that nasty feeling toward another soul.

This is why I enjoy the brush stroke, the smell, the texture
of oil paint late at night. For me, it's a calming and soothing rehabilitating feeling for me. Also when I paint for others I feel that that satisfaction feeling of their happiness of loving a piece that I made.

Art was never on my radar growing up.
I was always looking up to my sister in awe of everything
that she created. But through her inspiration and guidance I can
add some pointers to my feeble attempts towards my inspiration.

As I move forward in life inspiration is key with transition.
Growing up I might have looked to the wrong inspiration as I molded my life. However I feel that new inspiration is such a blessing at a very key point in my life. Whether it's through guidance, my painting, or my walk in life, I feel that inspiration is
a key part of my maturation.

Some great times in 2011 so far........

I've had a resurgence of faith and
hope and peace within me
so far in the year 2011.

My friends are awesome.
I couldn't make my life be as sane and likable
without them by my side.
They are spread throughout the country
but I thank each and every one of you for your love.

It's been a tough start to 2011 for different reasons.
I guess I needed to grow up at some point in my life.
Boy, did I do that. At least I think I think I took a huge step in
accomplishing that.

I enjoy inspiration. Few and far between, I don't discriminate.
I enjoy the inspiration however it comes.

Smiles get me through the week, even that sounds creepy, but it's true.

Did I mention that I love my friends. They support
me in every way. It makes my heart happy.

I love the new addition to my family. It came at a perfect time
so that our family could rejoice in awesome times.

on a side note.......
Did I mention that I love sunglasses and Golf.
They go really well together

I enjoy painting and putting my thoughts and ideas on Canvas.
I grow with each piece that I complete.

I love my smile.
Its gotten me through all my B.S. that I've been through...

By the way I've come to love happy hour.
Like I said I don't discriminate.

Art is passion.
I've finally figured why my sisters heart is at peace
when in the studio. I am at peace when creating for others.

Branching out is my new goal. Opening up to
whatever is out there.

Here's to more of the smiles in 2011.
Thanks for the good times everyone.
I needed it.

Inspiration can be edgy sometimes

I met Nick through my roommate Brendan a few years back while he was living in San Ramon. At first i thought this kid was the craziest, not giving a care, ruthless teenager I had ever met. Through the years I got to know Nick a bit and realized this guy is, in my language "legit".

Nick's one of a kind. Dresses to the beat of his own drum and a style all his own. He's very eccentric and in my mind on another level. If you see him in a "DangerZone" episode you'll recognize how off the wall Sick Nikki Fresh is. I'm pretty impressed with Nick and his Open Faith with people around him. That's always pumped me up. He can be such a popular dude on the Skateboard/Snowboard scene and still stick to his true alliance with Jesus Christ.

It's cool to me when people that get really big and popular remember where they came from and can stay grounded like Nikki has. That's inspiration to me in a bit of a nutshell. We all inspire people in different ways, some people more than others. It's finding the inspiration that you can use to better your soul that's most important to me.
